Not your average water district

We're a conservation district created by the state legislature in 1965. Our job? Keep the water clean, the parks wild, and the bureaucracy minimal.

The Mission

Control, store, preserve, and distribute water for beneficial uses. Translation: we make sure Clearwater Lake stays beautiful so you can actually enjoy it.

The Reality

Board meetings on the 4th Tuesday at 6 PM. Open records. Transparent budgets. We're accountable to Lakemont County—not to shareholders or politicians.
